PARKSIDE School students have been organising events to help others.
Post 16 students at the Cullingworth School organised the annual fancy dress disco for Year 7 students.
The sixth formers decorated the hall and canteen, and ran activities such as apple bobbing and a 'what's in the box?' contest.
There was also a boys versus girls dance-off and day 'best dressed' competition.
The teenagers will use the proceeds towards the cost of publishing a Year 13 yearbook and staging the leavers’ prom.
Students of both Parkside School and Cullingworth Primary School performed at the first-ever Cullingworth Community Christmas Concert in the village hall.
There were performances from both school choirs, Parkside student Matthew Bown, post-16 band Multiverse Theory and community choir Flattnotes.
Parkside spokesman Philip Logan said: “The event was a sell out and was deemed by all as a great festive evening.”
The evening raised more than £681 towards the fund to build a new Village Hall.
