REGARDING the Jew Lane, Oxenhope, lovely geese crossing the road – Motorists warned over geese crossing roads (Keighley News, August 20) – surely warning signs should be erected quickly?
Can plastic signs printed and laminated be attached to trees or lampposts by residents?
Rescuers, shelters and charities helping animals and pets are stretched to overflowing all over this country, one cause being that people do not have cats neutered, creating strays desperate for food.
The Government ignores animals. There should be an Animals in Need Red Nose Day for humanitarians to support animals in need.
