A GUIDE has been launched to help walkers enjoy and appreciate the land between Haworth and Hebden Bridge.
The new 16-page route guide covers a swathe of moors, fields, valleys and reservoirs, offering plenty of opportunities for walkers
It has been produced by a group called Hebden Bridge Walkers Action, and includes information about the area between the two towns, a map of the routes and detailed directions for walking the Pennine Way and Old Road routes.
The route guide, priced £1.50, is available from both Haworth and Hebden Bridge visitors information centres, as well as from other shops in Haworth, Oxenhope and Hebden Bridge.
Mo Ludlam, from Hebden Bridge Walkers Action, thanked all the organisations who have supported and funded the publication, including Haworth, Cross Roads & Stanbury Parish Council, Oxenhope Parish Council and Hebden Royd Town Council.
Haworth, Cross Roads and Stanbury Parish Council chairman, Councillor John Huxley, said: "We are delighted to be associated with Hebden Bridge Walkers Action and our neighbouring local councils in helping to publish this Hebden Bridge to Haworth walk booklet.
"We believe it will give walkers many hours of pleasure."
