CUMBRIAN writer Kim Moore will lead a poetry workshop at Keighley Library on May 7.

Award-winning Kim Moore, who lives in Barrow, will appear as part of Bradford Libraries’ Read Regional 2016 campaign.

Kim published her first full-length collection The Art Of Falling in 2015 and has been published in magazines including Poetry Review and the TLS.

She is one of five UK poets selected to take part in Versopolis, a European poetry project, which aims to provide opportunities for emerging UK poets to perform at European festivals.

She last year performed her work in Holland, Croatia and Ireland, as well as working part-time as a peripatetic brass teacher and playing trumpet in a nine-piece soul band called The Soul Survivors.

Read Regional is the annual campaign that introduces readers to writers from the North, through their local libraries.

The poetry workshop is free. Contact Dionne Hood by calling 01535 618211 or emailing dionne.hood@bradford.gov.uk to book a place.
