VOLUNTEERS are being sought to help make sure next month's Haworth 1960s Weekend is a success.
Organisers are looking for people prepared to give up a few hours to make sure people looking back on the event will have some fantastic memories.
People interested in getting involved should e-mail committee@haworth60sweekend.com for more details.
The event takes place on June 25 and 26. It will include displays of 1960s-era vehicles, people dressed up in the fashions of this decade and live music acts.
Bands announced so far include Last Orders, a five-piece playing a range of material, including numbers by Booker T and the MGs, Chuck Berry, Creedence Clearwater Revival and The Rolling Stones.
There will also be a performance by The Sheratons, a young, four-piece group from Bingley, which was formed just over a year ago.
The Sheratons' repertoire will feature both covers and fresh material, and the band is promising to bring youthful enthusiasm to some of the best-known 1960s tracks.
