SUMMER blues and steam are the subjects of the photography class at this summer’s Haworth flower and veg show.
Haworth, Oxenhope, Lees and Crossroads Gardeners and Allotment Holders association will hold its 98th annual flower vegetable and produce show on August 28.
As usual, the venue will be Haworth Village Hall and Community Hub in Butt Lane, starting at 2.30pm.
Cups will be presented at 4pm followed by an auction of produce in aid of Manorlands. There will be a tombola raffle and refreshments.
A spokesman said: “Our show is one of the largest in the area so why not have a look at the classes and have a go at entering?”
The show has become increasingly popular in recent years, attracting 60 exhibitors and 500 exhibits last year. This was a turnaround in fortunes after the show nearly went out of existence ten years ago.
