MANORLANDS will share in the proceeds of a jumbo fundraiser.
A night of elephant racing is being staged at Silsden Sports Club next Friday (Oct 14).
The event will feature at least six races, a raffle, music and licensed bar.
Proceeds will be split between the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice and the Elmina Methodist School, in Ghana, which race night organiser Rebecca Brook is visiting with her school – South Craven – next year.
Tickets are available – priced £5, including a pie and peas supper – from Rebecca on rebeccab_1@msn.com.
Manorlands senior fundraiser, Andrew Wood, said: "Our Riddlesden support group had a hugely successful evening with elephant racing in the spring and we hope that people will turn out and make this event just as great a night."
