KILDWICK youngsters are celebrating success in the latest Keighley & Craven schools cross-country running event.
The village primary school had record numbers taking part in the race, at Cliffe Castle in Keighley.
Despite cold and wet conditions, all pupils completed the event and notched-up some impressive results.
Stella Osbourne finished third in the year 3/4 girls' race.
And Anna Fryers, Helena Roberts and Catrin Ferguson – representing year 6 girls – finished first, second and third respectively.
Catrin ended the course wearing just one shoe!
Headteacher Tim Whitehead congratulated all the runners.
"The children loved taking part in this team event and we will be back again in the spring," he added.
"Thanks go to the organisers for putting on what tuned out to be a fantastic event."
