ONE of the district's oldest residents has died.
Jack Pask, who lived at the Laurel Bank Nursing Home in Wilsden, had celebrated turning 105 at a surprise party in August.
Mr Pask was born at Tadcaster in 1911.
His funeral will take place at Nab Wood Crematorium in Shipley tomorrow (December 16), at 12.40pm.
Donations taken at the service will be donated to Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice Manorlands and Laurel Bank.
Dawn Delaurenti, who works at the care home, was one of those who organised Mr Pask’s surprise party.
Speaking at the time, she said Mr Pask was a brilliant resident who always took part in activities at the home and had a great sense of humour.
