MEMBERS of Keighley Association of Engineers have been given a behind-the-scenes look at a successful Silsden company.
They visited Advanced Actuators, at Ryefield Way, to see the manufacturing process in action.
The 30-strong party saw some of the products demonstrated and had the chance to talk to software designers.
The company – founded in 1969 as Elram International – supplies components to a diverse range of markets internationally, from oil and gas to the nuclear and marine industries.
In 2004, the expanding firm relocated from its previous base to a new purpose-built manufacturing facility.
And the company adopted its current name seven years later.
Keighley Association of Engineers organises a programme of visits and talks.
