ANOTHER significant step will be taken tomorrow as the Clean Up Our Town campaign – backed by the Keighley News – gathers momentum.
Volunteers will be out in force to help tidy the graveyard behind Keighley Shared Church, a secluded spot which regrettably has become synonymous with drugs-related activities.
Teams will also be out at other locations, including Highfield, picking-up litter and tackling overgrown areas.
The initiative is a terrific example of the community coming together to improve its environment.
Initial support for the campaign has shown that people do care about our town and genuinely want to make it a better and safer place.
