IAN Walkden, of the Men of Worth Project, was the speaker at a meeting of Keighley Rotary Club.
He talked about members of the community who had served in a variety of ways during the First World War.
Mr Walkden also showed photographs of people, places and plaques related to the period.
The meeting, at Keighley RUFC, began with a buffet.
At the next evening meeting, on July 3, the speaker is Susan Spink of Bradford Council’s refuse and recycling service. To book a place, e-mail secretary@keighleyrotary.org. The buffet costs £6.50.
