PRIMARY school children from Sutton have enjoyed a visit to a nearby secondary school as part of a performance and technology experience day.
The pupils from the year five class at Sutton Community Primary were hosted by South Craven School last month. (June)
Sutton CP head teacher Fiona Beetles paid tribute to the work put in by South Craven to make the event a success.
She added: "In the morning, the children engaged in activities such as rounders and dodgeball in the sports hall, with a few of our students coming away with some silverware in both these tournaments.
"After lunch, the children then went on to take part in a technology afternoon activity. This involved our children learning how to make their own keyring torch.
"Our year five pupils were absolute super stars during the day. They all made our school proud through the way in which they conducted themselves.
"Thanks to all at South Craven School for helping to make the day such an enjoyable experience."
