GLUSBURN Fallfest will take place from Friday, September 22, to Sunday, September 24, at the Glusburn Institute Community and Arts Centre.

The Fallfest will begin with the Falling Stars Theatre Company performing 2, a play by Jim Cartwright which is set in a typical Northern pub and explores the lives of people in a working-class town.

Performances in the main auditorium of Glusburn Institute take place at 7pm on the Friday and 2pm on the Sunday. Tickets cost £8 for adults and £6 for students.

In addition to a Beer and Gin Festival which will be held in the chapel of Glusburn Institute all weekend, on Saturday there will be a Bake Off for children and adults, children's activities, a street market, refreshments, bar and hog roast. Entry to the Beer and Gin Festival costs £2 and a souvenir festival glass costs £2.

On Saturday, there will also be free live performances by Rock Up and Sing! choir, Appalachian dance, Zumba and the Amore School of Dance, as well as junior and fun races.

The headline gala performance in the main auditorium at 6pm on the Saturday will be a concert by award-winning singer Beverly Craven, who will perform songs from her new album alongside timeless classics.
