LITTLE Women The Musical will receive its European professional premiere at Hope Mill Theatre in Manchester.
Louisa May Alcott’s captivating story, written 150 years ago, portrays the adventures of the four March sisters, Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy, during the American Civil War.
The stage show follows eldest daughter and aspiring writer Jo as she receives yet another rejection from a publisher.
Her friend Professor Bhaer suggests she makes her stories more personal, so she weaves the tale of how she and her sisters grew up amidst self-discovery, heartache, hope and everlasting love.
Little Women runs from November 9 to December 9. It features a score by Grammy Award winner Jason Howland.
