COMMUNITY groups in Keighley and Denholme are among those sharing £4,700 from the Craven Trust.
The Keighley-based charity has given cash to the Friends of Devonshire Park, Denholme Youth Cafe and Keighley Cougars Community Foundation.
The Youth Cafe involves the young people of Denholme in a range of activities, including last summer’s Love Denholme project to build traditional fairground games for the village gala.
The Craven Trust grant will help pay for security at the Youth Cafe in Foster Park.
The Friends of Devonshire Park, who organise regular ‘tree walks’ with tree experts, will spend its grant on a new Weaving with Nature project.
The Cougars Foundation will spend its grant on a rugby league development programme.
The Craven Trust will give its next round of grants in February, and the deadline for applications is January 12.
