ORGANISERS of the regular Central Soul event at Central Hall in Keighley are hosting a Soul and Motown Special.
A free soul CD will be given to the first 50 people to go through the door of the Alice Street community centre on Saturday November 25.
David Shackleton, one of the volunteer organisers, said: “DJs will play the ‘sound of young America’ to keep the dance floor buzzing.
“We have the return to Keighley of Lancashire's own soul singing sensation Johnny Boy singing two sets of classic soul and Tamla Motown classics live on stage.
“Johnny appears all of the UK as a supporting act to famous soul and Motown singers from the United States and the UK."
John has performed regularly with legendary singer Tommy Hunt, who is known for classic track soul track Loving on the Losing Side.
The event runs from 8pm to 1.30am. The cost is £5 in advance or £6 on the door.
