MY husband and I visit Keighley on a regular basis and continue to be appalled at the amount of rubbish allowed to accumulate behind the shops and flats in Cavendish Street.
The bins are always full to overflowing, which must surely encourage vermin, and the whole area looks run down.
People arriving at the car park outside Sainsbury’s store do not have a pleasant greeting to what was once an attractive shopping area.
Why are the shopkeepers and residents not enforced to keep the area clean and tidy? Surely, this amounts to littering at the least and should invoke a fine! The pavement area walking into Sainsbury’s car park is greasy and uneven. The whole corner is completely unsavoury.
