A BUSINESS which relocated to Keighley after 46 years in Bradford has had its first festive season of trading in its spacious new home.

Earlier this year The Bed Shop moved from Sunbridge Road, Bradford, to Keighley Retail Park, in Hard Ings Road. Since then it has taken on new staff.

The Bed Shop Superstore is a family run business, with other stores across the Lincolnshire and Yorkshire areas.

It says that although its Sunbridge Road outlet had been doing well, its bigger showroom in Keighley means more choice and more space for customers to browse.

Reflecting on the move to Keighley, store manager Stuart Butterfield said: "We have invested heavily in the move and we are glad it has paid off.

"Customers really appreciate the extra space, the free parking and the fact everything is at ground floor level and much easier to see.

"The business is going from strength to strength and we've had great support from our suppliers, so we can continue to stock the big brands that many of our customers want."

He said The Bed Shop has recruited two extra employees since moving to Keighley, adding it is possible the firm will be looking to take on more staff in future.
