A CYCLIST has been airlifted to hospital following a crash in Keighley.
Halifax Road, at Ingrow, remained closed this afternoon following the accident.
Police tweeted: "Emergency services are in attendance, please avoid the area."
A police spokesman said: “The incident happened in Halifax Road at the junction with Apple Street.
“Police were called at 1.55pm after reports of a male cyclist being involved in a collision with a white Vauxhall Corsa.
"The cyclist has been taken by air ambulance to Leeds General Infirmary in a serious condition.
“Emergency services remain at the scene and enquiries are ongoing.”
One onlooker said the road was blocked off by police vans close to Ingrow railway station.
