PLANNERS are considering proposals to demolish buildings and construct a terrace of three new houses in Oxenhope.
The outline application has been submitted for land next to West Shaw Farm, West Shaw Lane.
A heritage statement which forms part of the application explains that this 940 square metre site, which features a yard, a workshop and a garage, has previously been used for light industrial purposes.
It adds: "The proposed development will replace fairly low grade buildings with new building of a density in keeping with the surrounding area.
"Particularly, the new dwellings will be in the traditional cottage/terrace style, keeping close to the roadside.
"The materials to be used are matters reserved for future consideration, but it is assumed that natural stone walling and slate roofs would be appropriate."
The plans, which will be decided by Bradford Council, were considered at the latest meeting of Oxenhope Parish Council.
While councillors raised no objections, Cllr Penny Cusdin said she was concerned that the proposed one parking space for each of the new homes would not be enough.
