A MAN was airlifted to hospital after being struck by a train in Keighley.
Emergency services were called to the railway line close to Hard Ings Road just after 6pm yesterday.
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance, together with specialist paramedics from the hazardous area response team, a doctor and an ambulance crew, attended.
Officers from British Transport Police (BTP) and the West Yorkshire force were also at the scene.
The injured man was flown to Leeds General Infirmary.
His condition is not known.
BTP said the incident is not being treated as suspicious.
All rail services on the Airedale line between Shipley and Skipton were suspended while emergency crews dealt with the incident.
Some replacement bus services were put in place.
Trains began operating again from about 8.30pm.
