POLICE are investigating after a 12-year-old boy was approached by the occupants of a van.
The vehicle – described as white, and smaller than a Transit – pulled up alongside the youngster as he walked along Keighley Road, Cross Hills, shortly after 4pm yesterday.
Two men, said to be in their 50s, were in the van. They are described as white – one had a beard and the other was wearing glasses and had stubble.
The driver shouted something at the boy and the passenger got out and started to approach the youngster, who ran off.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or seen anything suspicious in the area at the time to get in touch.

A police spokesman said: "Although incidents like this are rare, parents are advised to reiterate 'stranger danger' advice to their children."
