THE draft version of a plan to help determine the long-term future of three Worth Valley villages will be voted on by councillors.
At their latest meeting, Members of Haworth, Cross Roads and Stanbury Parish Council were updated on progress to put together a Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) for their parish.
The draft of this document has been circulated to councillors, and they are due to vote on it at their next full meeting on August 20.
Cllr David Senior said: "It's really important that we all read the draft and make sure we're happy with it."
Cllr Peter Clarke said: "The NDP working group has done a lot of hard work on this and they've produced a very impressive document."
Once finalised, the NDP will be a statutory document.
Part of it is designed to give local people greater influence over what kind of new developments can be built in the parish in future, and where these buildings are located.
