MODEL trains will be in the sidings this weekend following the last-minute cancellation of rides on the railway track at Marley.
Keighley and District Model Engineering Society has had to cancel its public running day, planned for Sunday August 19, due to unforeseen circumstances.
Society spokesman Dave Aston said: “Normal service will be resumed from the next public event, which is when we run while Keighley Show takes place on Saturday, September 1.”
Visit kdmes.org.uk/opentrns.htm for dates and times of the society’s regular running days.
Society members operate scale-model steam locomotives on the half-mile track between Marley playing fields and the River Worth.
