THE Greenwoods menswear store in Keighley town centre has closed down.
Signs were up in the shop’s windows on Saturday September 15, saying the long-established shop was having a closing-down sale.
Members of staff at the premises confirmed September 15 was the shop’s last day of trading, though could not give any further details on the business’s future.
No one else from the company has responded to a Keighley News request for comment.
The Greenwoods chain went into administration in early September last year, but was saved from closure in October by a company called Versatile Investment Trading.
The sale saw 40 retail stores and 181 jobs saved.
The central warehouse and head office functions, in Bradford, were also be transferred to the buyer.
The remaining 22 stores in the chain closed with 88 redundancies.
