A VULNERABLE teenager used by others to deal drugs has been given a suspended sentence.
Calum Sunderland, 19, of Acre Street, Keighley, was arrested with nine wraps of crack cocaine and 13 wraps of heroin on April 7 in Keighley.
He was a passenger in a car which was followed by police, and the driver tried to escape by speeding off and then abandoning the car.
Sunderland admitted possessing cannabis, crack cocaine and heroin with intent to supply.
Judge Jonathan Durham Hall QC, the Recorder of Bradford, said Sunderland was an “ideal candidate to be used by others” for crime, was “coping with a number of challenges”, and must not get involved in crime again.
Sunderland received an 18-month sentence suspended for two years, and was ordered to undertake 25 rehabilitation activity days.
