A FUN day at a Keighley town centre venue will raise money for a children’s cancer charity later this month.
The Halloween themed event will take place at the Livery Rooms JD Wetherspoon, in North Street, on Saturday October 27.
It is being organised by the pub and restaurant’s staff, with all proceeds to go towards the charity CLIC Sargent.
Keighley Livery Rooms team leader Megan Carson said the day would begin with a children and families session, running from noon to 4pm.
This will feature colouring, games, a lucky dip, a photo booth, face painting and other activities for youngsters.
It will be free to enter, though there will be a small charge for the various games.
The evening part of the event will run from 7pm to 10pm and will feature live music acts, a fancy dress contest for the adults and another lucky dip.
Megan said: “We’ve done live music nights before but not a full family day, so we wanted to try something a little different this year.
“We’d like as many people as possible to come along and support us.”
