A KEIGHLEY-based central heating services provider is expanding again following its successful advance into the West Midlands.

Jonathan Broadbent, a managing director at Clever Energy Boilers, said: “We took a risk – a real risk with expanding our company even further on the road towards becoming a nationwide, household name.

“However, it’s paying off. Having completed our first installation in the Midlands on July 27, we’ve since completed over 150 installs in the Midlands, with far more to come.”

He said the company is now focusing its attentions on the North East domestic heating market. It has hired four new sales staff and gas engineers to cope with growing demand for both boiler installations and aftercare.

Mr Broadbent added the firm’s catchment area now stretches from Birmingham, to Newcastle-upon-Tyne, covering an 80-mile radius around its head office in Keighley.

The business employs 40 members of staff, including Gas Safe engineers, domestic energy assessors and office staff. Nearly 2,000 customers use the company’s servicing and breakdown department.

Managing director Paul Calvert said: “Out on the road, we have 25 installers who travel up and down the country delivering installations, every day.

“The further our reach, the better we have to be as a company.”
