A KEIGHLEY business has had hundreds of shopping bags made, which it then donated to Manorlands.
Keighley 608608 Taxis, based in Dalton Mills, had the 500 bags produced by an independent company then passed them to the hospice.
The family owned taxi firm is managed by Nawid Hanif and Nahim Hanif.
Nawid said: “We wanted to do something that would benefit everyone,” he said. “And we’ve plans to raise money for Manorlands in future.”
Manorlands fundraiser Andrew Wood said: “We thank Nawid for his support. We’ll use these bags as an environmentally friendly alternative to plastic, and we’ll be giving them out as goody bags at an event in the New Year.
“They are quite robust, so people will be able to re-use them instead of buying plastic bags.”
