QUEEN Victoria will probably not be amused while attending Christmas at the Castle in Keighley this Sunday. (Dec 9)
Queen Victoria – alias Pam Laking of Cliffe Castle Support Group – is to meet “Henry Isaac Butterfield” at Cliffe Castle.
She will also meet a new member of the Butterfield family – Bracewell the Dragon.
Members of Cliffe Castle Support Group will spread the Christmas spirit by helping children make old fashioned pomanders, supported by donation of the required oranges and cloves by Morrisons, Riddlesden Co-op, and Shan’s Supermarket.
Christmas at the Castle runs from 11am to 4pm. It is a free event with live music and singing, an outdoor market, Santa and real reindeer.
Every child visiting Santa in the museum, for a charge of £4, will receive a gift.
