PEOPLE are being invited to step back in time to raise money for Manorlands.

The Roaring Twenties will be recreated at the Sue Ryder Speakeasy Sponsor Night.

Starring in the show is highly-acclaimed band Miss Kiddy and the Cads, with local dancer Leah Wise.

There will be a dinner buffet, raffle and disco.

The event takes place at Keighley Rugby Union Club, in Skipton Road, Utley, on February 16, at 7.30pm.

It is being organised by Oakworth man Adam Brunskill as part of fundraising efforts for Manorlands, which will see him take part in the London Marathon on April 28.

He aims to coin-in £2,000 for the Oxenhope hospice.

Adam said the Speakeasy event promised to be a great night.

"Miss Kiddy and the Cads have just performed at the Savoy in London for New Year's Eve – which shows their pedigree – and they are in Keighley for one night only," he added.

Tickets cost £25.

Manorlands supports patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families at the hospice and in the community, across an area covering Craven, Airedale and Wharfedale as well as parts of Bradford.

All services are free to patients and their loved ones, but it costs £9,000 a day to keep the hospice doors open.

Only a small part of the cost is covered by statutory funds.

Most of the funds have to be raised through voluntary donations.
