A COWLING shop which raises money for charity has maintained its support of Airedale Hospital.
New2U has presented £250 to the Friends of Airedale, taking to around £1,000 the total it's coined-in for the hospital charity in recent years.
A donation last year helped fund mini fridges and fans for the outpatients department.
New2U – based at St Andrew's Church, Cowling – raises money for good causes through selling donated goods including clothing, toys, books and bric-a-brac.
"We only run the shop from a small room but we receive a lot of donations to sell which we're so thankful for," said spokesman Andrea Moore.
"I really enjoy being able to give something back to charities in our area."
Friends of Airedale president, Eileen Proud, thanked the shop for its backing.
"We’re incredibly grateful for all donations and we are passionate about using them to create a positive difference to Airedale patients," she added.
New2U is open from 2pm to 4pm Tuesdays and Thursdays and from 10am to noon on Saturdays.
