POLICE have been using horses as they step-up patrols in the Long Lee area of Keighley.
The action is in response to a spate of burglaries in the neighbourhood.
On Saturday officers reported that a suspicious vehicle, a dark-coloured VW Golf, had been seen.
Police tweeted an appeal that if a member of the public saw such a vehicle being driven suspiciously in the area, to obtain the registration and call them.
Ward councillor Caroline Firth tweeted: "We are working with the fantastic Keighley team to reassure the community in Long Lee that officers are doing all they can to catch the culprits responsible for a recent spate of burglaries."
