SKIPTON’S Rendezvous Hotel has teamed up with The Growling Shrew bottle shop, also in the town, for the first meeting of the Craven Beer Circle on Tuesday, March 5.
The first event of its kind in Craven, there will be a three course meal with ‘craft beers to match’ at the hotel in Keighley Road.
In addition, there will also be a talk by Kev Mitchell, from The Growling Shrew.
Those going along are being promised the best of beers, while also learning a thing or two. They will also be shown how to get the best out of beer and how to drink for pleasure, without suffering the next day from a hangover.
The menu will include smoked chicken and Toulouse sausage terrine and confit of duck, while beers will hail from breweries including Hadrian Border and Lost and Grounded.
The first meeting of the Craven Beer Circle will be from 7pm on March 5 with a 7.30pm start. Cost of the three course meal with craft beers is £25; future events will cost £30. For those wanting to make a night of it, the hotel is offering special bed and breakfast rates.
