I MET our relatively-new village warden the other day while he was doing sterling work tidying up by the railway station footbridge in Haworth.
The village has looked much tidier recently as a consequence of his efforts.
Unfortunately we will never be able to stop some from littering, but we can help. If we can get involved in local litter-picks or keep our own areas clean and tidy then this should improve and enhance our environment.
