ACTIVISTS will be in Keighley on Saturday a campaign for an end to UK arms sales to Saudi Arabia.
The campaigners, who will be outside the bus station from 11am to 1pm, making a call to the government to force a stop on sales.
The campaigners say that the government has been trying to achieve a vital cease fire in Yemen, it is not questioned that UK arms dealers our selling weapons to the Saudi regime.
A spokesman said: “£200 million of promised aid to Yemen while almost £5billion worth of aircraft and bombs have been sold to Saudi Arabia is hardly helpful.
“Appeals continue to go out to stop selling arms from all the major humanitarian agencies – Oxfam, Amnesty International, Save the Children, Christian Aid – and also from a House of Lords committee and the US Senate.”
