A KEIGHLEY woman is planning a dream holiday thanks to a £1,000 prize.

Debbie Wharton will head to Italy with her husband and daughter after winning a competition at the town's Airedale Shopping Centre.

"Italy is a very special place for us," she said.

"It’s not only where my husband and I got married, but we also have family over there who we try to see when we can.

"We didn’t think we would be able to visit there this next year, but thanks to this incredible opportunity we are now able to go.

"It’s going to be particularly special for my daughter, who hasn’t been since she was four years old – and she is now nine. This is going to be a trip she'll really remember."

The shopping centre teamed-up with its TUI store to stage the competition, which attracted more than 170 entries.

Centre manager, Steve Seymour, said: "This was a fabulous prize and we were thrilled to be able to offer our customers the opportunity to receive an amazing travel experience of their choice.

"It was a chance for us to say ‘thank you’ to the local community for its continued loyalty to the centre."
