A PEDESTRIAN suffered serious injuries after he was involved in a collision with a car in Bradford Road, Riddlesden, yesterday.
The accident happened at about 4.55pm, outside the Co-op store.
The injured man, who is in his 20s, was taken by air ambulance to Leeds General Infirmary. His condition is currently unknown.
A section of Bradford Road, between Aireworth Road and Bar Lane, was closed for more than two hours while emergency services dealt with the incident and the vehicle involved – a black Vauxhall Astra – was recovered.
