A PEDESTRIAN who suffered serious injuries after an accident at Riddlesden remains in a "critical but stable" condition in hospital.
The man, who is in his 20s, was taken by air ambulance to Leeds General Infirmary.
The accident happened in Bradford Road, Riddlesden, outside the Co-op store, at about 4.55pm last Wednesday.
A section of Bradford Road, between Aireworth Road and Bar Lane, was closed for more than two hours while emergency services dealt with the incident and the vehicle involved – a black Vauxhall Astra – was recovered.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service sent both the county’s air ambulances to the scene, as well as a ground crew and two doctors.
