A STORE has launched a fundraising campaign in support of Keighley Cat Care.

The Pets at Home summer appeal begins a year-long partnership with the charity.

There will be a chance for the organisation to promote its work through the store, at Keighley Retail Park, in Hard Ings Road.

Various activities will take place and people are encouraged to donate, either in-store or online.

Christopher Hewitson, manager of Pets at Home in Keighley, said: "We’re delighted to be raising money for Keighley Cat Care this year, and hope that people will get involved and support us.

"We have ambitious goals for our summer fundraising appeal, and every donation will help a rescue pet in need."

Support Adoption For Pets, a charity established by Pets at Home to help rehoming centres and animal welfare organisations, is also urging people to give their backing.

Spokeswoman Amy Wilson said: "The summer fundraising appeal is a great opportunity for people to support their local rescue to give pets looking for a home the vital care they deserve.

"Even the smallest of donations can make a huge difference to a pet rescue centre.

"We’re overwhelmed every year by the hard work and enthusiasm of Pets at Home stores to raise money for their local rescues, and we can’t wait to see what this year holds."
