AN event which aimed to “bring a message of hope” to Keighley has been hailed as a huge success.
Soul Search 2019 took place over three days and attracted hundreds of people.
There were free activities for primary-school-aged children each day, at Victoria Hall.
The sessions included games, food, storytelling and music.
Then every evening there was a main-stage event featuring music and spoken word, with a message around the event theme ‘Is anything worth more than your soul?’.
The event was organised by River Church Aire Valley.
Spokesman Christian Allsworth said: “The four months of planning that went into Soul Search were worth all the effort, time and resources.
“Many people across the town were helped by the event and found new hope and encouragement in life.
“The message around ‘Is anything worth more than your soul?’ was well received by all.
“We gave out many free gifts and helped families which were struggling by giving food hampers.”
