A POIGNANT service was held in Keighley to mark the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings.
The service, in Town Hall Square yesterday evening, was led by town chaplain the Rev Dr Jonathan Pritchard.
Town mayor Councillor Peter Corkindale was among those present, together with members of the public and the Royal British Legion.
There were standard bearers from the Legion, Duke of Wellington's Regiment and Yorkshire Volunteers Regimental Association.
