A BROKEN-down train is causing severe disruption to services between Leeds and Skipton on the Airedale railway line.
Operator Northern says it is working to recover the train, which is stuck near Skipton Station, and return services to normal as soon as possible.
But the company warns that in the meantime, there will be delays and cancellations on journeys to and from Leeds/Skipton.
Passengers are advised to listen for announcements and check information screens, or with National Rail Enquiries, for updates.
"We are very sorry for delays this may cause to people's journeys," said a spokesman.
