TWO new layouts were among those on display when Keighley Model Railway Club staged its summer open day.
Mathew Widdop and Jack Sharples exhibited Melin Liechi, a narrow-gauge railway based on a Welsh slate quarry.
And new member David Hill showed his N-gauge layout Hampton Moor, based on a branch line terminus.
“Both layouts were well received and created a lot of interest,” said a club spokesman.
“We had a really good day – everyone enjoyed it.”
The next event is a 7mm festival at the clubrooms – on the third floor of Keighley Business Centre, South Street – on Sunday, October 13.
Anyone interested in joining the group can call at the clubrooms on a Tuesday or Thursday, between 7pm and 10pm, or on a Saturday between noon and 4.30pm.
