MEMBERS of Keighley Young Professionals found the winning recipe to support Manorlands.
They staged a bake-off-style event in aid of the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice.
“We decided we’d like to raise money for Manorlands for our latest networking event and the bake-off was one of the more popular ideas,” said spokesman Richard Stratton, of Stirk Lambert & Co.
“We hope to work with the hospice more in the future and raise some much-needed funds.”
Manorlands community fundraiser Harriet Wood and senior fundraiser Hayley Ibbotson judged the creations and gave a talk about the hospice.
The event, at the Cavendish Business Centre in Keighley, raised £84.
Keighley Young Professionals – which comprises people aged 18 to 35 – meets monthly for a networking ‘beer club', and stages a bigger quarterly event.

Manorlands supports patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families at the hospice and in the community. It costs £9,000 a day to keep the hospice doors open.
