SKELETAL Family unveiled its new line-up during a special gig at the recent Keighley Arts and Music Festival. Hannah Small is fronting the latest incarnation of the Keighley Goth rock band that achieved national renown and an indie number one in the 1980s.
The band has since been through various line-ups – with founders Trotwood and Stan the constants – and in recent years with original vocalist Anne Marie back on the mi c they built a new following on both sides of the Atlantic.
The new-look ‘Skels’ also features long-time local musicians Ozzy and Karl Heinz. The line-up debuted at Keighley’s Exchange Arts Centre as part of festival gig reuniting late 70s/early 80s Keighley band The Elements, featuring Trotwood, Stan, Kyle Heinz and singer Jayne Tretton.
Trotwood said: “The gig went really well. Both singers were well received, Hannah fitting in very well with the Skeletal Family. We now start recording new material, and have more gigs in the pipeline, both here and abroad.”
