YOUNGSTERS have displayed their artistic talents.
A gallery was created at Stanbury Village School as the culmination of an art week, and members of the community were invited to view the work.
Each pupil had studied at least one artist and produced a piece based on the theme Faces.
There were Easter Island heads, Day of the Dead masks and a river of faces.
Self-portraits were also blended together to create a single piece. And families were invited to an after-school art workshop.
In addition to the art gallery, prospective parents were given a tour of the school by class-three children and there was a cafe.
“There was a wonderful atmosphere,” said a school spokesman.
