STAFF at a Keighley pharmacy are raising funds for the Alzheimer’s Society.
So far, over £300 has been collected at the Lloyds Pharmacy branch in Sainsbury’s supermarket, Cavendish Street.
And the fundraising effort is ongoing.
The Lloyds Pharmacy company became an official corporate supporter of the Alzheimer’s Society – and Alzheimer Scotland – in 2015, after launching its backing of the Dementia Friends initiative the previous year.
“There are now over 850,000 people living with dementia,” said a company spokesman. “We are working closely with the Alzheimer’s Society and Alzheimer Scotland to raise awareness and improve access to information, advice and services.”
