FUNDRAISING has entered a new chapter at a Cross Hills building society.
Staff at the Skipton Building Society branch in Main Street coined-in £475 for charity through a book stall.
The money has been donated to Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice, Manorlands.
Denise Wortley and Sharon Hardaker, from the branch, handed over a cheque and thanked customers for supporting the initiative.
Skipton Building Society match-funded the amount raised.
Manorlands-based Sue Ryder fundraiser, Andrew Wood, paid tribute to the branch team for its backing.
He added: “We also owe Skipton Building Society a big ‘thank you’ for match-funding the amount. The money is vital so we can continue to be there when it matters for local people.”
